Hey!

I’m Bryen, just spelled a little differently. I am a husband, father, creative, lifelong cyclist, Pacific Northwest native, cancer survivor, liver transplantee, burrito lover, and a soon-to-be father.
 
I’m also a Seattle-based multi-disciplinary graphic and web designer. For over 13 years I’ve helped people and organizations solve communication problems through impactful, holistic print and digital design. My work can be found internationally across a range of industries including outdoor, automotive, home service, veterinary, and more.

Background?

In 2013, fresh after graduating with a Communications degree from the University of Washington, I began a graphic design internship for Northshore Community Church. A few months in, I became the full-time digital communications manager where I designed, built, and managed dozens of digital campaigns. In the meantime, I began freelancing as Graver Creative, growing my client list to include Boeing, Amsberry’s Painting, Dreadnought Brewing, Washington Student Cycling League, and dozens more. Projects included websites, logos, brochures, prints, annual reports, and even cycling kits for international bike tour companies.
 
In June 2025, after four years managing and designing a wide range of print and digital creative at Olympic Veterinary, I turned to full-time freelance under the name Graver Creative. I work with clients including the Phinney Neighborhood Association/City of Seattle, Cedar Springs Camp, and Olympic Veterinary.

Goals?

On each project, my goal is to design solutions to communication problems between organization and consumer. The process begins with understanding the people involved; relationship-building has always been core to my work as it empowers the people I’m working with (through trust and brand-identity building), and results in stronger communication for those I’m designing for (deeper understanding of the audience and the problems they have).
